WHERE'S YOUR MAP?

A traveler on the wrong road came upon a small town.
After a fill-up at the local gas station, he said to the attendant.  "I think I'm lost."
The attendant asked, "Do you know where you are?"
"Yes", the traveler replied, "I saw the sign a few miles up the road."
The attendant asked, "Where are you going?"
The traveler told the attendant his destination.
The attendant answered, "You're not lost, you just need directions. I'll draw you a map."

Are you like this traveler?  You know where you are.
You know where you want to be.
You just need directions to get there.
A MAP.

Here's a proven technique for creating your MAP.

(1)  WRITE DOWN YOUR DREAMS.
Writing your dreams activates them into goals.
When you are specific about what you want, it becomes real.
Your clarity and determination builds. You are activated.

(2)  DEVELOP AN ACTION PLAN.
Your action plan reveals productive activities vs. time wasters.
       (a) What actions are needed to achieve your goals?  Write it down.
       (b) What additional skills are needed? Write it down.
       (c) Write the probable time-frame (a month, 1-5 years, etc)  for your goal.

(3)  BREAKDOWN LARGE GOALS INTO SMALLER GOALS.
A journey is not arrived in a leap, take one consistent step at a time.
           Each month write a Goal-focused To-Do List.
           Each week write a Goal-focused To-Do List.
           Daily write a Goal-focused To-Do List

(4)  SET A DEADLINE FOR GOAL ACHIEVEMENT
This deadline date must be specific for each goal.
Use deadlines to stay on course to your desired result.
Remember, life brings delays and detours, be flexible and rewrite.

NOW you have your MAP to get you where you want to be.
Enjoy the JOURNEY!.
